You need to consider two important factors when buying body armor: the level of protection and comfort you get while using it. Thanks to today’s technology, you can have both in Protection Group Denmark’s LEVEL III+ 10X12 ARMOR SAPI PLATE.

Designed in Single or Multi-curve form to contour neatly to your body for the best possible comfort, PGD’s lightest ceramic plate made with Silicon Carbide weighs only 2.15kgs. (4.73lbs.). It comes in an ergonomic SAPI/Shooters cut giving you easy mobility especially in tactical situations. Size is 30×25 cm (12×10 inches) to fit almost all standard plate carriers.

This ballistic plate has been tested against 6 shots from 7.62×51 NATO (NIJ III test bullet) and also stops bullets from 7.62×39 MSC (ak47) and 5.56×45 mm (M855 / SS109), the latter of which cannot penetrate our ceramic plates, making them better than Steel and 100% PE Ballistic SAPI plates.

At the same time, this ballistic plate is protected by a thin layer of foam all around the plate making it impact and drop-resistant. It is made in our new “heat-sealed” water-resistant cover, which keeps water, oil, and other liquids away from the ballistic plate without damaging the ballistic properties.
