This ballistic helmet is known as a Modular Integrated Communications Helmet (MICH) and Advanced Combat Helmet (ACH). The MICH ballistic helmet is a lighter version of our PASGT bulletproof helmet, but at the same time a helmet with low cut for maximum protection, where the design is slightly different. With a weight of only 1.20kg, you’ll get an extremely lightweight ballistic helmet with low cut, that provides protection against some of the most advanced small arms.
The MICH 2000 ballistic helmet stops up to a .44 Magnum and .357 SIG according to NIJ standard 0101.06. In addition, the helmet V50 is tested against fragments of 680 M/S according to STANAG 2920. The helmet is applied with Polyurea spray paint, which protects against UV light, water and liquids so your ballistic helmet does not lose its ballistic properties.
Revolutionary 10-pad system
The ballistic helmet comes with our revolutionary 10-pad system (soft foam), which makes the ballistic MICH helmet comfortable to wear over long periods of time. At the same time, the 10-pad foam system also protects against blunt force trauma from hits. Furthermore you will also have a comfortable air circulation inside the ballistic helmet against heat and moisture.
